The HOOT! is a wonderful musical community that gathers every month for a curated open mic style evening of music. Each evening has a theme and mostly folks play cover songs that relate to theme. Occasionally a Hootian will share an original song which must be credited to Paul Anka. It’s a longstanding tradition. This evening at the Monkey House will be a gathering of several HOOT! regulars, myself included, who will be sharing original tunes, hence the Paul Anka theme.
